Personal Bio
Hey I’m Chris, an avid Rugby League viewer and a Sydney Roosters tragic. Growing up in Sydney, I have been surrounded by Rugby League from a young age, whether that’s as a viewer or as a player. Rugby League has also been more than a sport to me, it’s a connection to my family, friends and community. Some of my earliest memories include family outings to a match or family gatherings on a Sunday afternoon with the game always on in the background. It’s where we shared our passion, friendly (sometimes not so) rivalries and moments we will never forget.

The Avatar I have chosen is a simplistic version of the Sydney Roosters jersey. The simple design captures the essence of the jersey and the club’s colours without being overly detailed while quickly pointing out which team I support. I find the simplistic style reflects my aesthetic and works well in various formats across the web, while remaining eye-catching to both fans and those unfamiliar with the sport. This image was also chosen due to accessibility in relation to copyright, as it is licensed under the Creative Commons.
